Usually we associate Hollywood with glamour and lot of show off.however there are 10 such Stars from Hollywood who have rocked the motion pictures and given it a very decent art form.These actors have reached where they are because of talent and hard work.Many of them give lavishly to charities of their choices.All these actors are consistence in their performances and behaviour.There is an internal glow to their art which will never diminish.These actors are very different from today’s Hollywood actors who rely more on publicity than performances.
Charles Chaplin in the era of black and white showed the world how to laugh and he did it with style.Coming from a very poor background Britain,this immigrant had a soft corner for socialism for which he was punished by US authorities.After rocking that era he went and settled in Switzerland where he later died!Robert De Nero is an actor producer par excellence.He is said to get under the skin of the character he plays.His acting abilities are acknowledged by Academy awards and sheer determination to give better performances each time.However he has still not reached his peak!
Gregory Peck from an gone by was adored by women and men alike all over the world.Many famous actors in other parts of the world follow his style of acting.Paul Newman started from the era of black and white films and gave wonderful performances year after year until he died few years back.He was a family men who would avoid publicity but delivered in substance.Clint Eastwood that eternal cowboy who is not only a brilliant star but a brilliant producer of “A Million Dollar Baby”!
Richard Burton, an English actor who was also married to eternal beauty Elizabeth Taylor twice was handsome and delivered his dialog with conviction and drive.He became addicted to alcohol and thus died later.Dustin Hoffman of “Kramer vs Kramer and RAINMAN fame proved he is not a pushover.His brilliant performances have given him solid fan base all over the world.Al Pacino of the Godfather fame looks very Italian but is a very sincere actor and talent which has put him on this blog of Fame.Anthony Hopkins a British actor from wales, is a solid performer and dialogue deliverer.His brilliant performances in SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and HANNIBAL where he played lector Hannibal cannot be surpassed.His acting in MASK OF ZORRO WAS BRILLIANT TOO!Tom Hanks is an actor who is brilliant and talented in recent times.His performances in SAVING PRIVATE RYAN earned him rare reviews all over the world.
Two actors whom I have in my honorary list are SEAN CONNERY AND JACK NICHOLSON.They both have great screen presence and are liked in every parts of the world.Sean Connery was more a James Bond image type of actor but later gave wonderful performances in HUNTING FOR THE RED OCTOBER and THE UNTOUCHABLES.Jack Nicholson was appreciated for the role of THE JOKER in THE BATMAN.
